Fees and enrolment

What it costs, and how to enrol

Now enrolling. Everything you need to plan, in plain English.

How to enrol

Four steps to a place

Tour first or enquire first. Either way, our team will support you at every stage.

  1. Start with an enquiry

Tell us about your child: their age or date of birth, the days you'd like, your expected start date and anything else you'd like to share. Our team will be in touch to guide you through the next steps.

  2. Visit Storybrooke

Book a tour to explore our learning spaces, meet our educators, learn about our curriculum and daily rhythms, and ask any questions about enrolment.

  3. Secure your place

Once a place is available, we'll guide you through the enrolment documents, your child's medical and emergency details, and confirming start dates and attendance pattern.

  4. Welcome and getting started

Before your child begins, we arrange a gentle orientation: visits, meeting your child's educators and preparing for a smooth first day.

Full-time, part-time or a combination of days, depending on availability.

Child Care Subsidy

Help with the cost

Storybrooke is an approved Child Care Subsidy (CCS) service. Services Australia works out whether you're eligible and how much you get, then pays the subsidy to us to reduce your fees. You pay the difference, called the gap fee.

The 3 Day Guarantee. From 5 January 2026, eligible families can get at least 72 hours of subsidised care per child each fortnight (about three days a week), whatever their hours of work or study. Families with more than 48 hours of recognised activity per fortnight can get up to 100 hours.

The 5% withholding. Services Australia usually holds back 5% of your subsidy during the year and settles it after the financial year ends.

Rules checked 22 October 2026. Always confirm your own situation with Services Australia.

NSW Start Strong

The NSW Government's Start Strong program can reduce fees for eligible 3 to 5 year olds in long day care.
